Pedro Betancourt urged to boost the national economy.

With the premise of training the directors and other political and governmental authorities of Pedro Betancourt  municipality, the Cuba Theater of the territory became the venue of a training seminar aimed at solving the main problems of the economy and raising the quality of life of the population.

Those present analyzed an audiovisual material where the first secretary of the Communist Party and president of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, pointed out the qualities and responsibilities that the political cadres and leaders of the nation must have and Adrián Alfredo Villa Lavín, department head of the José Smith Comas Faculty of the Provincial School of the Party, urged to achieve a greater perception among the people of all those government projections that will be implemented in the country.

On the other hand, Gladys Rodríguez López, mayor of the town, highlighted the main strategic lines that will be implemented from the town to face the complex socioeconomic situation of the island.

This political process, whose discussion has just begun in the country’s party militancy, will also be extended to other administrative structures, labor and student collectives and the population in general, in order to achieve coherence in the implementation of these measures aimed at the macroeconomic stabilization of Cuba and the defense of its social conquests.
