The main objective of the Exhibit of the Month that the Héctor Mederos Argüelles Sports Museum of Pedro Betrancourt is holding in his honor is to extol the legacy of multi-Olympic champion Teófilo Stevenson.
According to the historian of the facility, Emilio Morales Alvarez, among photographs, documents and other allegorical elements, the historical memory of this renowned Cuban boxer is promoted.

Teófilo Stevenson Lawrence was born on March 29th, 1952 and died on June the 11th, 2012, leaving behind him a victorious career at the head of Antillean boxing and an indelible mark that places him on the podium of the greatest glories of Cuban and world sport.
