Unión de Reyes Welcomes the New School Year

UNIÓN DE REYES: A total of 35 educational institutions opened their doors today in Unión de Reyes to receive more than 3,500 students from the municipality, as part of the start of the 2026-2027 school year throughout the country.

The municipal ceremony for the occasion took place at the José Alberto Rodríguez Acosta Urban Pre-University Institute, a center selected as the venue for its outstanding performance during the past school year. During the ceremony, its faculty was presented.

The celebration also featured the participation of amateur artists from the locality and art instructors, who accompanied the start of the day. Present were Yaneisy Fuentes López, First Secretary of the Party in the municipality, along with other political and governmental authorities of the territory.

In the midst of the third educational improvement, a school year begins today that will bring new challenges and tests for students, teachers, and families.
