Varadero gets ready for the Varadero Gourmet International.

With less than a month to go before the event, the Plaza America Convention Center is making preparations for the 13th Varadero Gourmet 2023 International Festival, which from September 20th to 23rd, will bring together businessmen and professionals from the gastronomy and enology sectors.

Conferences, master classes, tastings, competitions, chef and sommelier pairings and product presentations will animate the four days of this Gourmet, dedicated to the safeguarding of Cuban Creole food.

Organized mainly by the Ministry of Tourism, the Cubasol business group and Empresa Extrahotelera Palmares S.A., the main themes are related to current food and beverage services, their production and commercialization.

Gourmet 2023 will discuss the fusion of cultures in Cuban cuisine, current trends in food and beverage management, the pairing of spirits, Havana cigars, chocolate and coffee, as well as after-dinner cocktails.

The traditional and gourmet in Cuban gastronomy, regional cuisine, native desserts of traditional cuisine, typical Cuban dishes: myths and realities, the history of Cuban rums, challenges and challenges in artistic cuisine and the history of bars in Cuba will also be debated, according to the publication Excelencias Gourmet.

The festival brings together entrepreneurs and specialists linked to the management and marketing of beverages and food, academics, clients of Cuban tourist destinations and other professionals linked to the leisure industry.
