National Science and Innovation in Commerce event to be held in Matanzas.

To those who do science, innovate, create and manage solutions in favor of the development of Commerce were dedicated the national Science and Innovation event, held this Monday in the city of Matanzas.

The service units and companies that achieved high impact in the sector during the year 2023, thanks to the joint work with the territorial delegations of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, received recognition for their work.

They also highlighted the young people of the sector who were recently awarded the «Forjadores del Futuro» seal, a historic event for the sector, especially for the province of Matanzas.

Units such as Pergomar, El Polinesio, Las Cuevas de Bellamar and the store El Palacio were highlighted at the ceremony due to their advances in the quality of service, e-commerce and the strengthening of social communication.

From Matanzas, the Non Agricultural Cooperative Integral Services, which as a new form of management, is integrated to the Ministry of Internal Commerce, also deserved recognition.

Our province obtained the headquarters of the national act of Science and Innovation, among other aspects, for the work of the Business Group of Commerce, entity that deploys an intense work in function of the scientific development of the sector.

The members of the Central Committee of the Party, Susely Morfa González, secretary of the political organization in Matanzas, and Betsy Díaz Velázquez, Minister of Domestic Trade, emphasized that the results of the territory must be accompanied by a superior work in the year 2024.
