Matanzas Baseball Team Delivers Donations to Victims in Eastern Region.
On the field, the red and yellow team isn’t doing well, but off the field, they hit home runs of over 400 feet and make plays that, more than just getting fans on their feet, highlight the principle of solidarity.

The Cocodrilos team, after Wednesday’s game against Las Tunas, delivered a donation to the Granma residents evacuated to the eastern province. It was reported in the Facebook page of this team.
The donation, from the Cocodrilas Limonareñas sports club, was delivered by the Cocodrilos themselves, demonstrating that baseball is more than just a sport and transcends borders.
Armando Ferrer’s team relinquished their top spot after losing twice to the reigning Cuban baseball champions and now sit in fourth place behind Holguín, Industriales, and the Leñadores.
While the red and yellow team isn’t performing well on the field, off the field they’re hitting home runs over 400 feet and making plays that, more than just bringing fans to their feet, highlight the principle of solidarity.
