Culture, Dialogue, and Solutions in Jovellanos Summer

Jovellanos – In the Julio Reyes People’s Council of this municipality, residents engaged in dialogue with authorities about the community’s cultural and recreational activities, while political and mass organizations joined the meeting to verify the acceptance of the «Summer with Everyone» proposals.

During the exchange, the work of the Community Youth Network in these efforts was verified, as well as the role played by members of the Young Communists Union as promoters within the community. Additionally, complaints and suggestions from the population were heard to improve the recreational activities schedule and provide solutions to other issues in the Council.

Authorities explained the response of the Electric Company to solve the problem of transformers that were vandalized for the extraction of their dielectric oil — the type of fluid these devices use for operation — and noted that the Julio Reyes People’s Council is one of the most affected in the territory, requiring residents to increase revolutionary vigilance.

In this way, the day proved fruitful, as it not only fostered healthy recreation and community participation but also opened effective channels to listen to the people and act on their main concerns, reaffirming the joint work between leaders, organizations, and residents for the benefit of the community.
