This Saturday, Jovellanos municipality dressed up to inaugurate the Pioneer Sports Cup, an event that not only celebrates the emerging talent of our children and teenagers, but also honors two essential figures in the history of Cuba: Antonio Guiteras Holmes and Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, on the centenary of his birth.

The ceremony was attended by local authorities and INDER officials, who reaffirmed the role of sports as a pillar of the comprehensive development of new generations.
In each discipline, the young athletes pledged to compete. with discipline, respect, and dedication, while judges and referees reaffirmed their duty to act with fairness and impartiality.

The Pioneer Cup is not just a competition; it is a living expression of the principles of Cuban revolutionary sport, which promotes mass participation, inclusion, and development from an early age.
