As part of the management process of its general plan, the Municipal Directorate of Territorial Planning and Urbanism implements different actions for the benefit of Betancourt residents.
Zuleimy Sanchez Hernandez, head of the Planning Department of the facility, pointed out the benefits that the institution contributes to the development of the locality.

Likewise, Sánchez Hernández highlighted the execution of important works such as those related to the neighborhood in transformation «Cuba Libre» and the reestablishment of the hydraulic network in the Bolondrón Popular Council, among others.
