Matanceros camp out for Fidel and the Youth.
About 50 outstanding young people from the Federation of University Students in Matanzas, camped at the Faro de Maya campground, in commemoration of International Youth Day and the birthday of our Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
The young people, belonging to the Universities of Medical Sciences and Camilo Cienfuegos, carried out various recreational activities together with the movement of amateur artists with whom they exchanged experiences and music was the protagonist. Later, campers staying at the facility joined the evening.
To close the day, they gathered at the Juan Marinello headquarters of the University of Matanzas, in a political act, to reaffirm the commitment and legacy of our Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and at the same time celebrate International Youth Day, with the impetus that characterizes young Cubans.
Yosver Castañeda Piñera, ideological politician of the UJC Municipal Committee in Matanzas emphasized that the FEU secretariats of both universities lead and monitor these activities that will be extended to each university headquarters in all the provinces of the country.
