Renovation of a pipeline in the Industrial Zone of Matanzas (+photos and audio).

The drinking water pipeline that supplies the Industrial Zone and the Antonio Guiteras Thermoelectric Power Plant (CTE) in Matanzas will receive the replacement of three kilometres (km) of pipes within 72 days.

According to Antonio Hernández Martínez, delegate of Hydraulic Resources, the project is considered the most important to be carried out in the province due to the social and economic impact it represents for the nation.
This infrastructure, which has been in operation for more than 30 years, shows marked deterioration in the section to be restored, which impedes the supply of water to the CTE.
