Trophotherapy Workshop in Diana.
During the session, various natural ingredients and beneficial consumption methods were recommended, including turmeric, various fruits, moringa, mulberry, and other medicinal plants.

A workshop on the promotion and treatment of traditional herbal medicine using trophotherapy was held at the Family Doctor’s office in the Diana People’s Council of Jovellanos municipality.
The activity was led by Doctors Marcia Sánchez Pérez and Vivian Rodríguez Rojas, through the municipal Traditional Medicine program and the postgraduate research that Dr. Vivian is conducting as part of her specialization in Family Medicine.
Her study focuses on dietary patterns in older adults, the population group that was the main objective of the meeting.

During the session, various natural ingredients and beneficial consumption methods were recommended, including turmeric, a variety of fruits, moringa, mulberry, and other medicinal plants. These guidelines aim to improve the quality of life for senior citizens through the use of accessible and traditional resources.
The meeting was attended by several residents of the community, where 60 percent of the 245 individuals registered at the local family clinic are elderly. The initiative became a space for learning and prevention, reaffirming Family Medicine’s commitment to the comprehensive care of the population.
