Cold planting campaign begins in Pedro Betancourt (+photos and audio).

With the maxim of encouraging food production and territorial self-sufficiency, the cold planting campaign began in this municipality.

In the opening ceremony, developed in the farm of the producer Antonio Raúl Ramírez Rodríguez, belonging to the CCS «Victoria de Girón», the different local productive forms ratified their commitment to materialize the figures agreed for the stage, at the same time that the maximum authorities and directors carried out important agricultural actions in support to the producers of the town. This was commented by Hanny Martínez Martínez, first secretary of the Party in the locality.

Martínez Martínez also highlighted the positive results of the municipality in the spring campaign, as well as the outstanding workers who will join the ranks of the Party in the territory.

Likewise, both the «Victoria de Girón» and the cooperatives «José Díaz Márquez», «Gustavo González Pérez» and «Giraldo Díaz Pérez» were honored for their favorable indicators in terms of compliance with production plans and their participation in agricultural fairs both inside and outside the locality.
