Expectations on labor issues at international scientific workshop.

The identification, management and evaluation of occupational risks, and labor satisfaction: Challenges and impacts on economic efficiency, among other topics, arouse expectations in the IV Scientific Workshop on Ergonomics, Occupational and Work Safety, about to begin in the city of Matanzas.
Organized by the University of Matanzas (UM) and the Provincial Housing Enterprise Guanima (EPAGM), a total of 20 papers will be presented from November the 28th to the 30th at the event, which will bring together consultants and researchers from Higher Education Centers, managers and technicians from companies producing goods and providing services, from public administration bodies, among other economic and social actors.
Master lectures, some in person and others virtual, will be given during the first two days of the meeting scheduled from the 28th to the 30th, said Master Gustavo Vargas Zulueta, coordinator of the Workshop together with Dr.Cs Joaquín García Dihigo, from UM.
Vargas, director of human capital of the EPAGM, highlighted the conferences given by Dr. José Orlando Gómez, president of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA), and Dr. Mauricio Santos, president of the Latin American Ergonomics Union (ULAERGO).
Three members of the General Confederation of Labor, from France, are already in Matanzas territory and will also transmit their experiences in the struggle for the labor rights of employees in the Gallic nation.
This IV version of Ergonomics, Occupational and Work Safety, a workshop increasingly interested in the qualitative approach that should be given to OSH in the business system, a reading that transcends the mere use of traditional means of protection, will be held on the premises of the UM and the Provincial Committee of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba.
