In Matanzas, European Work and Solidarity Brigade «José Martí» (+photos).

The more than 40 members of the European Brigade of Work and Solidarity with #Cuba «José Martí» arrived in Matanzas.

The brigadistas friends of Cuba celebrate the 50th anniversary of the organization ratifying their support to the Cuban people.

In the central Libertad Park they placed a wreath to the Apostle and later exchanged with authorities of the province about the main industries existing in the territory, the impact of the economic blockade imposed by the United States, and foreign investment.

The members, who came from Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Greece and other European nations, were also interested in the investment in the different sectors of the city and how the province is recovering after what happened at the Supertanker Base and the measures taken after the incident.
