The University Chair for the Elderly (CUAM) in Pedro Betancourt municipality offers training courses, educational talks and other projects to guarantee the general integral culture, well-being and quality of life of its members.

With head office in Manuel Navarro Luna library of the territory, in its most recent meeting, topics such as the legal culture of the elderly, the conflict between Israel and Palestine, as well as the historical transcendence of the bolero in our country and in the Latin American region stood out. This was confirmed by Araceli Núñez Rodríguez, librarian of the General Room of this institution.

For her part, Adanairys Rodríguez Lefonst, professor of the specialty of Law at the municipal University Branch, shared with those present various legal knowledge about the work of organizations such as the National Revolutionary Police, the Collective Law Firms, the Prosecutor’s Office and the Municipal Court.
