National Occupancy Survey began in Pedro Betancourt (+audios).

The ONEI in Pedro Betancourt, recently recognized in the annual balance of the sector as the most comprehensive office in the province, demonstrates the commitment of its staff with the effective collection and analysis of these data.
With the objective of compiling socioeconomic and socio-demographic indicators of great interest for the implementation of public policies related to the development of the country, the National Occupation Survey, headed by the National Office of Statistics and Information (ONEI), is being carried out from this February until next April.
In this regard, we spoke with Sandra Torriente Peñalver, director of ONEI in Pedro Betancourt municipality, who stressed the importance of this exercise and clarified that the survey includes economically and non-economically active populations and covers urban and rural areas of the town for greater reliability and accuracy in the data.

Torriente Peñalver also pointed out the distinctive characteristics of the staff responsible for this initiative, which focuses its attention on issues such as occupation, unemployment, specific composition of each household and labor center, as well as the population not engaged in work and other existing forms of work.
