Varadero to host Cuba’s Rum Festival in September.

Cubasol’s president, Luis Martínez de Armas, announced that Cuba’s main beach resort, Varadero, will host the El Ron de Cuba Festival next September.

The event will be held from September 18th to 20th at the Casa del Ron in Varadero.

Martinez de Armas explained that Cubasol, a business group that manages the extra-hotel tourism activity on the island and winner of two laurels in the Excelencias 2023 Awards, will organize the event. Visitors will have the chance to taste some of Cuba’s best rums and learn about their history and production.

The festival will bring together specialists, entrepreneurs, sales agents, producers and retailers to discuss the production and marketing of major rum brands. In addition, master classes will be given by renowned rum masters, technologists and national and international specialists.

Members of the Association of Cuban Bartenders (ACC) will also perform blends and cocktail creations with white and aged rums.

Martínez de Armas stressed that attendees will be able to visit different rum factories on the island, which will allow them to discover the interesting and complex elaboration processes that give rise to the flavor of Cuban spirits.

The company Caracol S.A., subordinated to Cubasol, is in charge of this new edition of the festival, which will be an excellent opportunity to enjoy the Cuban destination and, in particular, Varadero Beach.
