The sadness continues for Cuba in the international arena.
Despite their best efforts, the Cuban youngsters finished in the sixth place in the U-12 Baseball Championship of Aguascalientes 2023, in Mexico.
The Cubans concluded their performance in the tournament last Saturday 27th, when they were defeated 3×11 against Puerto Rico.
The Cuban national team went to this event under the orders of Raul Rodriguez and returned to the national territory after winning only two games of the seven played, these victories were against the representatives of the Dominican Republic by forfeit and Brazil.
After concluding the event, they returned to Cuba with the bitter pill of not having fulfilled the main objective, which was to obtain one of the four tickets to the world championship of the category, announced to be held this year in Taipei, China.
Cuban baseball continues to live on past victories and the fans are already demanding new glories.
However, perhaps in these categories our boys have better results, in the 2018 edition they reached the bronze medal and have been crowned in three other editions, although the last time was in 1997.
