Productive Days Support Guava Harvest
Jagüey Grande – Having become daily practices, productive days call for support of the economic endeavors of the collective of the Victoria de Girón Agroindustrial Enterprise (EAIVG).
Managers and workers gave a fundamental boost to the guava harvest with the picking of the Roja Enana variety, carried out at the Integral Farm one and two Basic Business Unit, according to what was published on the Facebook profile of the entity’s union bureau.
«Every pallet harvested represents effort. Every shared day, commitment, and every result, the will to continue contributing to food production,» added the note, in reference to support for this food production in «the tasks of the countryside as a fundamental activity, at a key moment of production.»
As demonstrated by social media posts, in the collection and transfer of the guava, the «organization and commitment» of those who take on these tasks at the EAIVG stand out, to then take on the processing of this fruit for probable destinations such as tourism.
Empowered since 2016 to exercise foreign trade activity, the entity includes in its portfolio of services the import and export of merchandise to the country’s enterprises, including non-state management forms.
To expand this option and continue diversifying, the EAIVG recently evaluated the implementation of the 176 economic and social transformations, especially those related to agroindustrial management, productive efficiency, linkage with other entities, and business autonomy.
